Would not connect to GoPro

Could not get this app to connect to a GoPro Hero 3 White camera, although the Mac could see the cameras wi-fi node. The GoPro app could see and connect to the camera, so the problem appears to be with this app. Contacted the app creators support email address and they responded quickly with a few things to try, but a second message saying those suggestions did not help went unanswered.

It should be noted that even if this app can see the camera, it apparently is not possible to have a Mac connected to it and to the Internet at the same time. Thus, this app does not offer a way to move photos from the camera to a web site, stream a view, or anything like that. (This is not to imply the app says it does this and fails in that regard, just that its not a solution for someone wanting to do that.)
